Project Description

Tallaght Hospital is the amalgamation of the Meath Hospital, Adelaide and the National Children’s Hospital to form AMNCH. Built on a Green Field 35 acre Site the total area of the original buildings was 57,000m2. The hospital opened in 1998 and has 640 public beds, 2000 staff, 12 operating theatres and a full range of clinical services spread over 32 integrated departments.
Since the hospital opened several other projects have been completed on the site, they include:
· OPD Extension
· 500 Space Multi-storey Car Park (Design & Build)
· Trinity Medical School Phase 1 (Planning Permission Granted for Phase 2)
· 89 Bed Private Ward Block
· 39 Bed Discharge Unit
· Ascetic Pharmacy Extension
· CAT 3 Laboratory
· Reinstatement of the Fire Damaged Catering Department
· Refurbishment & Extension to Emergency Department
· Health and Safety Control for the Technical Services Department
