Irish Healthcare Centre Awards 2014

Two Garland projects have been nominated for the Building Project of the Year in the Irish Healthcare Centre Awards 2014: 

• New Critical Care Unit at MRWH Limerick 
• Children’s Heart Centre in Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital Crumlin

Congratulations to all involved in the projects.

The Critical Care Unit in Limerick is a new state of the art healthcare facility. The building contains car parking/basement, 4 medical floors and plant room at level 5. The facility was designed to allow for future extensions in the basement and upper floors as required.

 

A further congratulation goes to the Children’s Heart Centre in Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital Crumlin for also being shortlisted under the category of Specialist Care Centre of the Year. This purpose built project includes a 25 bed child cardiac unit as well as support accommodation for both staff and families.

The Irish Healthcare Centre Award ceremony will be held on Friday 7th March 2014.
