BIM for the Irish Public Sector?

Mar 10, 2017

2017 is set to be a milestone year in Ireland in for the use of BIM within the public sector.  The Office of Government Procurement’s (OGP) has recently commenced drafting a BIM adoption strategy for the Irish public sector. The OGP strategy, when published, will set an indicative timeline for the adoption of BIM across the public capital programme and will mandate the manner in which BIM is to be adopted across the public sector in Ireland.  Following a consultation process with the key capital spending public bodies, represented on the Government Contracts Committee for Construction, a draft strategy will be published for comment from industry bodies.  Stay in touch for future updates.
