GARLAND to Present at Limerick BIM Event

GARLAND are presenting at a Construction IT Alliance (CitA) Regional Event which is taking place in Limerick on 29th March 2017 .   Brian Lahiff will be presenting on "BIM in Practive".   Brian will be presenting a number of our projects completed in BIM including €40m Mercer Institute for Successful Ageing (MISA), located on the St James's Hospital Campus in Dublin. The detailed design of MISA project was delivered using BIM processes in accordance with PAS 1192 to Level 2 standard.

Brian is the convener of the BIM committee of the Association of Consulting Engineers (ACEI). He is an active member of the CITA BIM Group and has lectured extensively on the subject.  Brian will also share with the event a number of recent developments for BIM in Ireland including the recent publishing of a Position Paper by Government Contracts Committee for Construction (GCCC).
