Dec 03, 2018

On the 12th of November New Zealand opened its first resident embassy in Ireland on Merrion Row in Dublin 2. `The Deputy Prime Minister Winston Peters who attended its opening pointed to Brexit as the reason New Zealand opened its Irish embassy. He stated "New Zealand has a lot at stake in its relations with Europe and people on the ground in Dublin makes sense as Europe's architecture evolves, following the United Kingdom’s exit from the EU", he continued "The moment the Brexit decision happened on June 23, 2016, it became very clear that, with respect to Ireland, we would have to set up an embassy here".

Garland provided Project Supervisor Design Process (PSDP) services for the embassy fit-out. You can read more about the safety management projects we've worked on here.
