Garland project gets profile in Irish Independent

35 Shelbourne Road, previously IPC house, in Dublin 4 has been profiled as a “landmark office scheme” in the Irish Independent.

In an article by Ronald Quinlan, developer David Daly speaks about the prospects of 35 Shelbourne Road. While Dublin 4 was traditionally the embassy district, it is changing to a business hub, he explains. He expects the “best-in-class” scheme will prove very appealing for companies who are seeking to locate themselves alongside companies such as Facebook and Avalon.

The development will offer over 87,000 sq ft of Grade A office space over eight storeys. The development prioritises sustainability, and will offer occupiers LEED Gold and BER A3 sustainability ratings. The building is designed to be energy-efficient, with rooftop photovoltaics, rainwater harvesting and electric vehicle charging stations promoting a green workplace.

An emphasis is placed on natural light which floods all eight storeys, including the 6 storey atrium reception, and a rooftop terrace provides an outdoor space for employees to socialise.

The development is managed by Cushman & Wakefield and is due to be completed in April 2020.
