Feeling Social?
Project Opera set to transform Limerick City Centre
Jul 23, 2020
GARLAND is delighted to be providing Project Supervisor Design Process services for Cogent on Project Opera, a massive project set to revitalise and redevelop Limerick City Centre. The 3.7 acre project is a landmark regional and national commercial development. A transformational project for Limerick, the fully developed site will be capable of employing up to 3,000 people across 53,000m2 campus.
Project Opera is part of the ambitious Limerick 2030 initiative, one that is building on Limerick's reputation as a location for international business, innovation and economic growth. It establishes the city as one of the most competitive English speaking city regions in the EU in which to do business post Brexit.
The development includes:
- Gardens International, setting the new LEED GOLD standard for Limerick's modern office spaces;
- Mungret Park, which will be the largest residential development outside the capital;
- Cleeves Riverside Quarter, a planned commercial mixed use hub and
- The already completed and operational 31, 560m2 Troy Studio Film Hub.
