Dalymount Park Redevelopment Gets Underway

Dalymount Park is an iconic Irish football stadium located northside of Dublin. Recent approval of Government funding has allowed for the revamping of the stadium to create a world class facility, with Bohemians and Shelbourne sharing the venue upon its completion.

GARLAND are teaming up with IDOM and Gilroy McMahon Architects to provide Assigned Certifier and PSDP services for the redevelopment. The project will see capacity increased to 6171 seats over a total area of 7,450m².

The site is on track to be completed by December 2024 with the Draft Stage 1 report currently sitting with the Dublin City Council for comments with site surveys about to commence, with the intention to submit Part 8 planning applications in March 2022.

The current plan for the new facility includes a UEFA Category 3 municipal stadium including new stands on all sides, and club offices and meeting rooms. There is also provision for a community space which includes a library, meeting rooms and space for community events on non-match days.
