1GQ is the redevelopment of one of Dublin’s most iconic office buildings. Located directly across the River Liffey from Dublin’s historic Custom House, this building enjoys unparalleled access from any part of the City.


The new 1GQ unveils a striking 5 storey glazed extension to the front which delivers more generous and welcoming treatment to the building while maintaining a coherent relationship to the overall scheme.


1GQ provides 133,487 sq ft of Grade A floor space over 5 levels with large flexible floor plates extending to approximately 28,000 sq ft each.
The building has been finished to the highest standard and provides a LEED platinum rating only available in the very best office buildings.


As part of the redevelopment the enclosing pergola and railing elements to the front of the building have been removed and a new landscaped plaza will created. Occupiers enter the building via a new 2.9 metre high feature revolving door into a truly impressive reception area of 3,760 sq ft with ceiling heights up to 6.85 metres. This area has been finished to the highest specification with stone floor and wall tiling together with feature lighting throughout. The redevelopment also boasts a scenic 13 person lift to the rear of the reception area overlooking George’s Quay Plaza.
