Project Description
Kelvin Grove is located in the grounds of St. Dympna’s Hospital Carlow and the relocation project included residential accommodation for adult clients with learning and physical disabilities and challenging behaviour. It includes bungalows in a cluster style development surrounding a central facility for day activation programmes. The construction had to take account of existing protected structures on the site as well as fully mature trees on all boundaries. The project was constructed in a live hospital situation.
