Project Description
The project included the construction of a new 7,780m2, 2-storey elderly care unit on the grounds of Mullingar Hospital with associated underground and surface car parking services, etc. and the renovation of a protected structure.
The existing hospital infrastructure had to be diverted and redesigned to take account of future redevelopment. The structure consists of reinforced concrete basement and masonry with precast concrete 1st floor and steel framed pitched roofs.
