Project Description

The project included a review of Gambian development strategy, the assessment of a number of possible Free Zone sites and the preparation of a Master plan and detailed designs and tender documentation for a Phase 1 development.  The project also included a feasibility study and management plan for the disposal of waste from the proposed development.   The project also included a feasibility study and management plan for the disposal of waste from the proposed development.  Garland were subsequently appointed to provide site supervision and project management during the construction of the phase 1 development. Construction of site fencing, customs post, industrial units, energy centre, maintenance workshop, foul pump house, sewers and stormwater drains, watermains, water storage tank and associated pumps, roads, street lighting, electrical and telecom distribution.
