Project Description

GARLAND provided Assigned Certifier services for the Beckett Locke Aparthotel at North Wall Avenue, adjacent to the 3 Arena, in Dublin 1. The project can be described as a “design-led aparthotel for those who want to challenge the status quo, and experience the unique and authentic”.

The development involved the construction of a 12,302m2, eight- storey Aparthotel comprised of 241 rooms (each with balconies) and a café/bar, retail unit and gym at the ground floor level. The room configuration included 138 no. studios, 72 no. one-beds and 31 no. two-bed units. Other amenities included outdoor seating, meeting / work spaces and 28 no. bicycle parking spaces. 

The works included the demolition of the existing structures on site prior to the commencement of the construction works alongside all associated site development, landscaping, boundary treatment works, and infrastructural services provision. The site is landlocked which presented its own challenges during construction.
